Esta antigua pulper\u00eda data del a\u00f1o 1930. Esta es una de las partes m\u00e1s hermosas del recorrido, ya que andaremos por un estrecho camino rodeado de verde hasta llegar a un cruce de v\u00edas. Una vez all\u00ed, andaremos por encima de las antiguas v\u00edas. La paz que acompa\u00f1a el sendero es \u00fanica. In the old days, this area was inhabited only by those who lived and worked at the estancias. However, when the English train companies arrived in Argentina and started building the railways, people began settling around the main station of each area. That is how the town of Tom\u00e1s Jofr\u00e9 started to grow.<\/p>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-0b6ff09 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"0b6ff09\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<p class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">It was after this that, in 1948, Ronald Fronteras came to the small village and founded the first Almac\u00e9n de Ramos Generales\u2014a general store that sold all kinds of goods needed by the people who worked at the ranches. As a consequence, people who lived and worked in the area used to visit the village travelling on horseback, and that is when the first taverns appeared. Western towns are among the few places in Buenos Aires Province where old pulper\u00edas (taverns) are still alive.
