La Soleada Polo Ranch was home to one of the greatest female polo players, Lía Salvo. In fact, she was the first woman to compete in—and win—a top-level tournament such as the Jockey Club Open, as a member of the La Dolfina team. This achievement marked a historic milestone, as it paved the way for women’s polo and eventually led to the creation of the Women’s Polo Open.
We are proud to know that we are a small part of this history, and we are deeply committed to continuing to support and promote polo in the area.
La Soleada Polo Ranch has everything needed to play polo and enjoy an outstanding experience. Thanks to our indoor arena, polo is available year-round, allowing us to play every day—even in rainy conditions.
We offer top-level facilities for horse care and training, including a mechanical horse walker with rubber flooring, indoor stables directly connected to the indoor arena, corrals, a professional grass polo field, and a stick-and-ball field specially designed with boards.

Most of our players come from the Mercedes and Luján areas. Many of them have their own breeding farms nearby and return each season to enjoy polo at our club. In fact, the La Soleada Polo Team regularly competes in important regional tournaments.
The Polo Ranch is located just five minutes from La Soleada Estancia and has two access points. One provides direct access from the paved road, next to the polo field, and was specially designed for horse trailers. The main entrance is located near the stables and the indoor polo arena.
We offer polo for all levels, with suitable horses for beginners, intermediate, and advanced players. At our polo school, we provide both theoretical and practical lessons, with personalized training programs tailored to each guest. Advanced players also have the opportunity to join our team and compete at other polo clubs in the area.

Our polo field meets official dimensions (300 yards long × 160 yards wide). It is fully boarded and bordered on one side by a tacuara cane fence to maintain the club’s privacy. The field is located just a few meters from the main house, the swimming pool, and the horse facilities.
Our indoor arena covers 1,000 square meters, providing the ideal surface for playing polo on rainy days and during the winter season. The arena features two access doors, one of which is directly connected to the luxury indoor stables, allowing players and horses to move straight from the boxes to the arena without getting wet when it rains. This space was designed not only for use during bad weather, but also for training polo horses and performing specialized exercises.
