Día de Polo – La Soleada Polo Ranch

Polo Day

This day tour is specially designed for people who have never played polo but would like to experience one of Argentina’s most iconic sports, while also discovering traditional gaucho life and estancia culture.

During our Polo Day experience, guests will have the opportunity to take lessons in the morning with a professional polo player and play a mini chukker in the afternoon on our specially designed stick & ball field.

Includes

Recepción de bienvenida en la caballeriza con café, té, mate y panadería local.
Breve charla de introducción al polo y recorrido por las instalaciones.
Polo lessons with a short mallet in order to learn to hit the ball correctly and learn how to swing the arm.
Clase montada en la cancha de polo, por la mañana y por la tarde.
Almuerzo con asado en el patio español o en los boxes interiores.
Oportunidad de ver una práctica jugada por los jugadores locales (debe solicitarse con anticipación y, en caso de no estar programada, tiene un costo adicional).

The day includes:

10:00 am - Welcome reception at La Soleada Polo Ranch, held in the indoor stables. Guests will have the opportunity to meet our horses, while the instructor explains how polo horses are trained and cared for.
11:00 am - Polo lesson using a short mallet to learn how to hit the ball correctly and develop the proper swing technique. Afterwards, guests will ride our horses and take a mounted lesson on the professional polo field.
1:00 pm -Lunch will take place in the Spanish-style patio, the perfect setting to enjoy a glass of red wine while taking in the beautiful views of the ranch. Traditional barbecue lunch menu.
3:00 pm - Mini chukker at our stick & ball field.

** Upon prior request and subject to availability, guests may have the opportunity to watch a practice match played by our club members.
